Michael Buta, Vice President/Director of Operations for Magnolia Lodging, LLC joined the company in 2004 as General Manager of our Hilton Garden Inn^® - Addison property and later assuming the General Manager role of the Homewood Suites by Hilton^® - Plano/Richardson. In 2005 he was promoted to Vice President/Director of Operations responsible for the operations, sales and revenue management of our portfolio of hotels. With over 15 years of experience within the hotel industry, Michael has proven himself to be a valuable asset to the Magnolia Lodging team.

Michael’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Illinois. Michael has had both sales and operational experience with nearly all major hotel brands with a heavy focus on Hilton branded hotels. In 2005, Michael served as the General Manager for the Homewood Suites hotel of the year – Homewood Suites by Hilton^® Plano/Richardson, Texas. The same time he was recognized as a top 10 General Manager within the Homewood Suites by Hilton^® system.
